Recipe
(makes 12-15)
135g Oats
120g Ground Almonds
50g Raw Cacao Powder
80g Coconut Flour
300g Pitted Soft Dates
100g Almond-Cocoa Butter (softened)
3-5 TBSP Oat Milk or Almond Milk or Orange Juice (amount depending on how crumbly your dough is to start with)
Pre-heat the oven to 200°C / 400°F
Process the oats and almonds in a food processor until they have flour like consistency.
Then mix in the cacao powder and coconut flour.
Next, add the dates and the nut butter, and process until you have sticky dough.
Last, add your milk or juice so that you get a smooth dough, that is not crumbly but also not too liquid-y.
Transfer your dough into a 20x30 cm baking dish, and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, then let cool down, cut into squares (or whatever shape you fancy) – and enjoy.
The “Brownies” last up to a week when kept in an airtight container in the fridge.
